Sam has been a key member of the D&C Projects team for over 15 years and currently manages and leads all operations across the Northern region. With extensive industry experience and a strong understanding of project delivery, he plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Sam finds the greatest satisfaction in seeing projects progress from initial drawings through to completion, particularly when hearing firsthand how much clients value the finished outcome. For him, the most rewarding part of the process is knowing the work delivered has made a meaningful and lasting impact. Bringing a strong analytical mindset to the team, Sam is able to assess challenges from alternative perspectives and identify practical, effective solutions — even in complex or high-pressure environments. He is confident in his decision-making, deeply passionate about his work, and highly loyal to both his team and the business. One project Sam is particularly proud of is the East Street Childcare development. Despite significant challenges throughout the process, seeing the project through to completion stands as a testament to persistence, teamwork, and commitment to quality outcomes. Motivated by a constant drive to improve and push forward, Sam draws inspiration from his own determination and mindset. He is influenced by Matthew McConaughey’s 2014 Academy Awards speech, which emphasises the importance of striving toward your future self — a philosophy that aligns closely with Sam’s strong focus on family, personal growth, and continual improvement.
